What I have found in most cases is that the smaller, less funded spaces seem to be more value driven, purposeful and goal oriented, while many of the larger, well funded spaces seem to just be a showroom floor of the best technologies and equipment.

The worst part was all of the wide-eyed educators and administrators who were just eating it up, all mesmerized by the message that using these tools are how kids should be learning in the 21st Century.

And I think another thing, in terms of academics in the classroom, the value of going into a class and walking out of it, maybe tired, like, "Oh, that was a lot of work." But feeling like you really took something from it, like an accomplishment, like you literally just built something in your brain, like a new piece of knowledge, it's like, "Oh, yes." It's satisfying. It's an achievement.
